Each time, they were dreamlike tours along secluded, rocky, or forested coasts with swimming breaks in bays with emerald-green water. From time to time, you can explore a small harbor town or beach bar or go on hikes to visit sights. The best part was the flexibility and friendliness of the crew, who adjusted the route, breaks, and meals to the group’s wishes, still managed to do some shopping, and always found a beautiful bay for the night. The tiny kitchen produced an incredible variety of Mediterranean and local vegetable specialties at every meal, with the option of meat or fish upon request. A highlight was the 'Captain’s Barbecues' with freshly caught fish, grilled right at the railing. Who we are 1980 Tum Tour Yacht Charter wurde von unserem Vater und Onkel als Familienunternehmen gegründet. Wir erwarben unsere erste Gulet, Tümer Bey, und begannen, Yachtcharter anzubieten. Auf diesem Bild sehen Sie unseren Vater Hikmet Tümer vor seinem allerersten Tum Tour-Büro. 1981 Die erste Yacht der Tum Tour Yachting im Jahr 1980 war die Gulet Tümer Bey. Sie befindet sich heute in Privatbesitz und wird in Italien genutzt. 1985 Unsere Yachten segelten auch in andere Regionen als Marmaris, beispielsweise nach Bodrum und Fethiye. Unser Onkel war Kapitän einer der Yachten. No, currently we do not offer flight but we are happy to assist you with airport and airline options. Which is the best season for a blue cruise? Every season has its own unique charm, but the best months for yachting are June and September. During this time, the days are long, sunny, and warm—offering the perfect balance of great weather and peaceful bays. High Summer (Late July & August) – Expect warm temperatures and a lively atmosphere. While the bays may be busier, this is the ideal time for those who love the vibrant summer energy. Spring (May & Early June) – Enjoy a refreshing sea breeze and invigorating water temperatures, perfect for an energizing start to the yachting season. With fewer crowds and blooming coastal landscapes, this is an excellent time for active exploration. Autumn (Late September & October) – Relax in the lingering warmth of the sea, which has been heated over the summer months. With mild temperatures, stunning sunsets, and peaceful bays, autumn offers the perfect setting for a tranquil and cozy yachting experience. No matter when you choose to set sail, there’s always a perfect moment to explore the sea—whether for adventure, relaxation, or simply escaping into nature. What to Bring? Luggage: Bring soft, portable suitcases suitable for yacht storage. Essentials: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Clothing: Pack light clothing for summer and a sweater for cooler spring/autumn nights. Extras: Books, music players, and any personal medication. Footwear: Walking barefoot is encouraged onboard. If needed, bring soft-soled plastic slippers for indoor use. Comfort: Cabins come with clean sheets and towels, so no need to pack extras. What are the onboard rules? Water & Electricity: Use conservatively as resources onboard are limited. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in cabins and should be done only on deck. Always dispose of cigarette stubs responsibly. Safety Rules: Do not swim before the engines are turned off. Avoid walking on wet floors or stairs without caution. Always supervise children onboard. Communication: Inform the captain before leaving the yacht for any activities. Toilets: Only use designated waste bins for toilet paper and foreign substances. Do not throw toilette paper in the toilette, as the pipes are small, it may stuck. Personal Items: Secure your belongings, especially on windy days. Would I get sea sick? Based on our experience, very few people experience seasickness on our cruises. The routes we offer typically navigate calm waters, and the bays are well-protected, minimizing motion. However, if you have a high sensitivity to motion sickness, we recommend consulting your doctor before your trip. Additionally, we can arrange a medical consultation at a hospital in Turkey if needed. Is it noisy on board? Please do not forget that the yacht is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.
